CarboFlex® dressing is a sterile, non-adhesive dressing indicated as a primary dressing for shallow wounds or as a secondary dressing over a wound filler for deeper wounds. It is a five layer dressing specifically designed to address the management problems associated with malodorous wounds, combining an absorbent wound contact layer, an activated charcoal central pad and a smooth water-resistant top layer.

>Do not cut the dressing, choose a dressing size so that it is larger than the wound area to ensure that the dressing overlaps the wound edge. For shallow wounds the dressing may be placed directly onto the wound as a primary dressing and for cavity wounds CarboFlex can be laid over a wound filler/gel as a secondary dressing.

>Place fibrous (non-shiny) surface on wound or cavity filler.

> Secure carboFlex in place over the wound with tape or other appropriate material.
