What is it?
HayMax™ is a completely natural balm which works as an effective pollen barrier when applied to the bottom of the nose.

HayMax™ is made from a base of organic beeswax and seed oil, blended with essential oils, Aloe Vera leaf juice extracts or no added fragrance depending on the variety (or varieties) you choose.

For your personal preference we offer four varieties of HayMax™ Aloe Vera, Lavender, Pure or Frankincense

New for 2009 is HayMax Aloe Vera™, which combines the pollen barrier HayMax™ with soothing Aloe Vera. Trap pollen and soothe your sore nose!

HayMax Pure™ was voted BEST PRODUCT ORGANIC by the Health Food Institute panel of judges at the Natural Trade Show in Brighton 2006, with no added fragrance. This version is great for people who don't like essential oils, or who are particularly sensitive.

We use certified organic beeswax from the rain forest in Zambia (see here for more info), we use certified organic oils, and according to independent, qualified Aromatherapists, the essential oils (and other ingredients) are not harmful in the quantities used for HayMax™

It is very simple. HayMax™ acts as a trap – or a blocker. The HayMax™ applied to the bottom of the nose traps some of the pollen before it enters the body. If there is less pollen in the body, there's less for the body to react against. Less pollen – Less sneezing and for many people no sneezing

If HayMax™ traps enough of the pollen to leave you with less pollen in your body than it take for you to react, then you won't react. If it takes out enough pollen that you are just around the point where you react, then you may find that that although you don't stop sneezing, you sneeze less. Or, if you are particularly sensitive, or if the pollen count is very high, there might be enough pollen getting in to your body that you continue to react. The good news here is that you can use Hay Max™ in conjunction with anything else you find helpful. In this case, the other product you use may have less of a job to do, since there is less pollen inside you.

The HayMax™ Story
HayMax™ was started by Max Wiseberg, who had suffered from hayfever all his life.
He tried all available remedies for his hay fever with limited or no success, until coming across what later became HayMax™.
It was simple and it worked!
After a couple of years using it successfully, Max had the time to do some research. Very simply, he discovered that in hayfever sufferers pollen entering the body through the nose triggers a reaction. The body's reaction is to produce histamines. Histamines are the things which, when you've got too much of them, cause the runny nose, the sneezing, the sore and itching eyes and ears and all the other things Hayfever sufferers know so well. He also found out that histamines are the things in our brains which help to keep us alert, attentive and awake. Suddenly it became clear why anti-histamines can make us drowsy, or affect our performance. Each person has their own level of pollen they can cope with before they start to react. So Max, a hayfever sufferer, didn't need much pollen to make him sneeze. And someone who is not a hayfever sufferer could end up sneezing if you blew a large amount of pollen up their nose. So if Max could reduce the amount of pollen entering the nose, his hayfever might not trouble him so much. It all made sense! He consulted qualified aromatherapists to ensure the essential oils used would have the best chance of improving the product without presenting any possible harm. As a result of his research, his consultations and experimentation, he produced a completely natural balm which worked as an effective pollen barrier.

Directions:
Apply a small amount around base of nostrils. Re-apply regularly and after blowing nose. This traps the pollen before it gets in and triggers your allergy.
