NATURAL MEN PERMANENT HAS NO AMMONIA OR RESORCINOL
Do Strand & Skin Test before colouring the hair (should do so every time you use colour)
If experience blisters, burns or swelling DO NOT continue to use
Natural Men comes in 6 shades- Brown=1.0 (should be labelled black) Dark Chestnut Brown=3.0 Chestnut=4.0 Light Chestnut=6.0 Dark Blonde=7.1 Blonde=8.1
Selecting Correct Colour-When selecting a colour choose a shade closest to your natural hair colour as Natural Men can not lighten hair. If unsure of which shade to choose, opt for the lighter shade as this can be more flattering on the skin tone.
Covering Grey- Natural Men will colour 100% Grey hair in 10-15 minutes. For areas that are very resistant to colour leave on for an additional 5-10 minutes.
Unfortunately Natural Men is not suitable for covering facial hair.
Using Natural Men- In each box of hair dye there is a small bottle that contains the actual hair colorant and a larger bottle that contains the colour developer (always mix them together in equal amounts), Plus a Colour Revitalizer Shampoo, (useful in neutralising reddish tones) a set of instructions and a pair of gloves.
Need Not Use Whole Box Each Time
- If you are just touching up roots or patches of grey
- If you have very short hair
Just mix up the amount of colorant and colour developer that you require in a glass or plastic bowl, leaving the remaining colorant and colour developer separately in their own individual bottles with their tops on and they will both keep for several months.
Skin & Strand Test- To ensure the best results when using this colorant it is VITAL that these two tests are carried out at least 48 HOURS before colouring, even if you regularly colour your hair and have never suffered an allergic reaction.
- Skin Test; Mix a few drops of colorant with the same amount of developer in a small plastic/glass bowl then reseal the bottles. Dab inside your elbow or behind your ear. Leave to dry & without washing it off, wait for 48 hours. Only proceed if no skin irritation occurs.
- Strand Test; When mixing for the skin test, take a few strands of hair, (enough to be able to see the colour and with previous colour and/ or grey on it), soak for 10-15 minutes. In the case of very resistant grey hair, leave for a further 5-10 minutes. When the strand of hair reaches the desired shade put on gloves as provided and remove coloured hair. Rinse carefully, take a note of the development time and leave to dry.
