The electrical impulse, which causes your heart to pump blood through your body, can be recorded in the HeartScan ECG monitor. In case of Cardiovasculr disease (CVD) this impulse can become unstable and cause subjective symptoms.
You can record your symptoms such as heart palpitations when they happen and the recorded electrocardiogram can then be used for diagnosis.
Changes in health such as "strange heartbeats", "sudden increase in heart palpitation" or an "irregular pulse" can be signs of a heart disease. However, if you go to the hospital after the symptoms have stopped, your doctor may not be able to find any problem. If you record your electrocardiogram using the OMRON Portable Electrocardiograph whilst you experience certain problems, you can show it to your doctor and he can then use that information for diagnosis.
