They are used reduce the amount of a type of fat (triglycerides) in the blood of those persons with too much triglycerides and who are judged to be at special risk of heart disease and/or pancreatitis.

Also contains Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E).Gelatin and Glycerin.

Each 1g of Maxepa Liquid contains 170mg of Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) and 115mg of Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA).

KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN, Consult your doctor before taking Maxepa if you: Suffer from non-insulin dependent diabetes. Suffer with asthma after having taken aspirin. Suffer from haemophilia. Are taking other medicines that can thin your blood (e.g. warfarin, aspirin, cephalosporin). This product contains glycerin which in large amounts can cause headaches and stomach upset and diarrhoea. Maxepa can sometimes cause nausea and wind. If you experience any other unwanted side-effects, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
